Swedish flag-FYI- KANKEN Backpacks
It took about a year to learn how to spell the name of this Swedish company correctly-but since we saw the fall/winter 2011collection-we've noticed how the Kånken and Kånken mini backpacks ($75-$55), pictured above-have a cult following hauling them around.

For S/S 2012 Fjällräven showed some more haulers-including  a laptop bag and totepack $110 apiece-made of the tough durable G-1000® HeavyDuty material...(a poly/cotton blend)

And what we loved right away- the retro cool Rucksacks No. 21 with a laptop compartment-in small, medium and large sizes made of the waxed weather tough G-1000® fabric-top loaded design with a snow lock under the lid. ($159-$189-$275)
