What satisfies the thousands of mall shopping customers and what pleases the handfuls of editorial types are often two separate issues. Not surprisingly, women responsible for some clothing lines ringing the register at retail- have no interest in what the powers that be trolling at high fashion reads deem fashionable (except maybe for the latest 'it' bags...)!

EDITOR'S GAVE THIS THE NOD OF APPROVAL

Caché -a mall based national retail chain with apparel/accessory lines--- (target niche of 35-55 year old women but not exclusively, by any means)---has really revamped their brand since we started attending the media previews, a few seasons back.

Sophisticated gals, and yes that would include the editorial types- might just like some of the accessibly priced separates and dresses that we saw for Spring-that are set to deliver in April and May of 2012. No doubt, Caché's client base will be more than pleased too...which of course is the bottom line.

More tapered cuts, flowing tops balanced with slim bottoms, less bling, clever tailoring details, and a nice range of colors and prints on fabrics/knits with good next to skin feel.
