New to us...and to OR though we caught up with the brand back in NYC---ZDAR takes the classic Russian winter boot seemingly impervious to the elements-and reinterprets it for the 21st century.
MAIN INGREDIENT-Wool---that is highly compressed-made on traditional machines using 100% lambswool---blessed with unique attributes of water resistance, warmth, and breathability....
Other cool features---the outsoles are reinforced with a layer of hemp, and the 'cushion comfort' footbed is covered in leather.
Our favs---not pictured cause samples were limited---woven patterned uppers in nice wintry cable knits.

BOGS are the quintessential farm/ranch/gardening/casual boots with a whole slew of tough durable kicks of different heights- with nylon jersey overlay...insulated with the proprietary Neo-Tech™a four way stretch inner booties- for comfort--plus special moisture wicking Max Wick™ lining. Bogs are available year round-with plenty of uppers in on trend patterns, bumped up with brightly printed coordinated trims- in bold and neutral colors...etc.
All enabled with a treaded outsole that grips even in ridiculously cold temps...
New---the Summit ($100)- these adorable and deceptively warm, totally squish-able pull on super lightweight neoprene boots-lined with sheer faux fur fleece...that are so light, we were skeptical they were up to the task of foot comfort-during a winter storm when we knew we'd be on freezing icy sidewalks---for hours.
The Summit are amazingly warm---we tucked out leggings right inside. Ideal for travelers and commuters who typically swap out of winter boots for indoor office shoes.
