Lacoste RUNWAY, KIDS (CUTE), HOME DECOR Spring 2014 Part 3

Part 1-Lacoste Spring 2014
Part 2-Lacoste Spring 2014

Lacoste's 2014 runway show during NY Fashion Week…celebrated the brand's 80th anniversary celebration, paying sartorial homage to the tennis great René Lacoste.
Sporty fabrics-like classic cottons with technical attributes---pervaded the collection by creative director Felipe Oliveira Baptista. We loved the ease of it all-edged by contrasting piping along the of tops, dresses, and pants = crisp clever takes on the court staples of yesteryear.

zipped sweatshirt blouson-varsity styles-striped ribbing

light blue double face mixed cotton jersey dress

great knits…twisted yarns…come in different colors-for men and women

zipped parkas and polos-men's…the suit not he right-blazer is a barely there belched mint green cotton canvas, with contrast light green lines-matching pants with polo shirt of mint green petit- piqué

nude sude sandals….

Design wise-it's always interesting to see how the more sophisticated looks of the runway filter down to the other parts of a company---

The children's collection by Lacoste-mini me-s of the grown-ups rtw looks…including plaids short sleeves, polos (of course), sweet hoodies and striped dress, and for the really mini-mes-the shoes, adorable.

CUTE!!!!!
