From the press release:

ABOUT THE COLLECTION: Inspired by personal travels to India, the Fall Winter 2015 Collection is influenced by the heritage and architecture of the Indian world, followed by a new interpretation of the modern era. Vibrant colors. Landscapes, textures and shapes combine together in clean geometric silhouettes, derived from one of the ancient architectural elements of the Indian culture – the Jaali.

Jaali is the term for perforated stone or latticed screen, usually with an ornamental pattern constructed through the use of calligraphy and geometry.

The collection focuses on the point of view of the “New Tourists” during the 1960’s, discovering India for the first time - juxtaposition between modern world and wild culture.
